Our Cruise
Wow! It's been a REALLY long time since our last post. Well....we just got back from our cruise! It was amazing. We went with both of our parents and my sister. We visited the beautiful islands of San Juan, St. Thomas, and St. Maarten. I think we should move to St. Maarten. The water in all the ports was indescribable. Torquise and bright blue waters surrounded by some of the top ten beaches and palm trees with plantlife that wouldn't even exist here. It was definitely a paradise. It's amazing how God can create such beauty.
This was pretty much our schedule: Eat, Pool, Eat, Beach, Eat, Tour Islands, Eat, Watch Cruise Shows, Eat, Play Games, Eat More!! It was definitely a very relaxing trip, which is just what we needed. Here are some more pics!

Hate Cats Like Stephen? Apply Here.
Well, I've bonded with my dog. Yeah, it's a girl and she's half poodle, but she scratches herself in inappropriate places like Kai. She has a beard and hair on her back like Darrell. She hates cats like Stephen. She reminds me of Eric and Josh when she puts on her jersey and watches the games. My glass isn't 90% empty.. it's 10% full.. sigh

Anyone Want a Placenta??
As most of you know...I work in the NICU (Neonatal ICU). We see some pretty crazy stuff. I thought this story was especially wierd.
The NICU has to go on some of the high risk deliveries, in case something goes wrong. A few days ago there was an Oriental couple having a baby, and the grandmother was in there. After the baby was born, the grandmother...who didn't speak English...wanted to keep the placenta. The doctor asked what she was going to do with it and the mother said, "Eat it!" Gross...Gross...Gross! Unfortunately, the mom had a high fever so the grandmother couldn't take it because it was probably infected. Talk about a different kind of stew! Yuck!!
